REDUCING CHILD SUPPORT AND ALIMONY

In this economy, many fathers have trouble making the payments they agreed to or were ordered to pay in the past. In most cases, I can file a motion on your behalf to get a reduction in Alimony and Child Support. You will need to prove that your reduction in income was not voluntary on your part and not temporary. The Court will need to see your tax returns and proof that you have been attempting to obtain a new job that pays similar to your old job. You must prove you have made substantial efforts to obtain a similar paying job. While Courts do not usually favor reducing child support and alimony, they will grant you a reduction if your case is presented properly with sufficient evidence.
